Overtime / Additional Hours

It is possible to add additional hours on the day of the shoot, however this should be agreed upon explicitly by the owner, and there is no requirement to agree to additional hours if they should disrupt the normal use of the location in an inexcusable way.

To add additional hours, first agree a rate for the additional time that suits both parties. To secure this rate, and to ensure that the money is received, it is recommended to immediately pay the money to the owner using the Film Locations booking platform. Paying outside of Film Locations is not only a breach of our terms and conditions, but it does not offer you the same protections to receiving you money that paying through Film Locations provides. Charges through other means can often easily be recalled. You will also be ineligible for assistance from Film Locations if you transact outside of the system.

How to Book Additional Time

To book the additional hours, the location owner or representative must change the pricing of the location listing to the agreed upon rate for the additional time, the booker can then request to book at this rate. The money will be required to be paid immediately, and will be paid directly to the owner. The location listing can then immediately be returned to its normal value after the booking has been made.
